Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen has Sam (Shia LeBeouf), Mikaela (Megan Fox) and the Autobots going on a mission to save the world from the evil Decepticons. Sam is fed up of his life, which is full of problems and intense action. He just wants to be a normal teenager and attend college to get on with his life. But even though he tries hard, he can’t escape fate, which has a whole lot of action in store for him.

A shard from the All-Spark remained in Sam’s jacket after his last encounter with the transformers. It has transferred its knowledge, complete with cryptic symbols into Sam’s head. Maths problems and other daily things that Sam tries to do, end up bothering him more and more. Because the symbols play out in front of him and he finds himself writing them out at a frantic pace. The truth is that the symbols are a map to the matrix-an ancient secret that will determine who triumphs in the end-Autobots or Decepticons.

The movie would definitely be a lot of fun in theatres, but is even better if seen at home, in company of friends and family. Shia and Megan have acted out their parts really well, especially at the time when Shia leaves Megan to go for his next adventure. The new robots add to the fun and excitement quotient. Games and other promotions have been created by the makers of this movie. Toy exhibitions and special premiers were also planned during its release.

Produced by Don Murphy, Ian Bryce, Lorenzo Di Bonaventura and Tom DeSanto, this movie takes you on a joy ride, which will be enjoyed by youngsters as well as elders. Sam joins the Autobots in their missions to save the world from the Decepticons.
